Tess's Favorite Recipes
COBBLER STUFFED PEACHES:

Ingredients:
6 medium peaches
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 pie crusts (I use pre-made)
Crisp:
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter
Filling:
cut off approx 1/4 to 1/2” of top of peach and cut into cubes
use all peach “meat” that is removed from center of peach when hollowing out
4 TBSP of butter
1/4 cup of brown sugar
Put in skillet and sauté until peaches are soft
Prep:
After hollowing out peaches, divide the filling up among the peaches and fill center cavity
then fill rest of the way with the crisp you made earlier
wrap each peach with enough pie crust to cover
place in well oiled pan
brush crust with melted butter and top with cinnamon
Baking:
After brushing with butter and topping with left over crisp and some cinnamon
Bake at 400 degrees approx. 40 minutes or until crust is crispy and done.
serve piping hot with Bluebell (or your favorite brand) vanilla ice cream.

WILD GAME HOT DOG SAUCE
Days are getting longer, kids are playing in the back yard,
friends and families are gathering and the grill is filling the neighborhood
with the best aroma ever.. food!

2 lbs- ground meat
1- small onion
1/2- green bell pepper
1- 10 oz can of tomato soup
1- 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1/2- cup ketchup
2- Tbs brown sugar
1- Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1- tps mustard
1- dash onion powder
1- Tbs chili powder
Start by chopping onion and bell pepper into very fine pieces.
Put in skillet and sauté until tender. Add ground meat and brown.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients into a 6 pot, simmer for about 45 min.
Serve on hotdogs or as sloppy joes
Pairs best with a side of fries and love..
